From the FAQ:
"However, be aware that if you change the email address for your account, you will no longer be able to "edit" files posted from your old email address. If you would like to have your items' ownership transferred to a new email address, send an email to info AT archive DOT org from your OLD email address (the one you want to get rid of - that's how we know you own the items) and tell us which address you'd like to change it to."
Does this mean the "edit file" link is transferred with "ownership" to the new email account? Or is "ownership" really just the ability to request a take down of an item?

Apparently items can be edited only from the original login ID. My email login was updated earlier (for a second time) by archive.org and the "edit item" function is not with the new email (again). So I'll have to switch logins back and forth to edit old and new items. That seems awkward.
